Wealden Engineering continued from the hobby of building specialist cars, and very quickly became involved in the development of a GTD40 - replica of the famous FORD GT40 - used and raced by owner Robin Batt.

This car became very well known as one of the fastest and most consistent competitors in the GT40 Car Clubs events. This success led to the formation of a customer base of many of the Clubs competing cars.

 

Wealden Engineering's development of the GTD40, led by customer requested changes that has evolved the car to a very highly sought after supercar, and now provides the car with awesome potential on both the road and track.
